Main responsibilities on project:

Expected experience/skills:

ServiceNow experience (or other similar platform) – more than 1 year 

Experience with ServicePortal or ServiceNow integrations, core features

Expert knowledge of release processes

Good knowledge of JavaScript and Glide API 

Good knowledge of Service Catalog and request management processes

Very good knowledge of GV best practices 

Experience working with certain ServiceNow modules

Professional technical customer communications

Working proficiency in English

Testing stories as a part of development

{Senior – ServiceNow Consultant}

Experience with ServiceNow  - more than 2 years (at least 2 separate projects)

Experience in Tech leader or WorkStream Leader role - more than 9 months 

Knowledge of all ServiceNow capabilities (not only core features)

Proficiency of US and release process, experience withupgrades 

Responsible for delivering solutions from start to finish (until successful usage on PROD) 

Main responsibilities on project:

Leading the team (from technical or delivery point of view)

Responsible for team's output and quality

Helping other ServiceNow Consultants

Presenting ServiceNow features demos, performing pre-sales presentations

Identifying customers' real needs and offering solutions 

Proposing solutions based on ServiceNow modules and features

Very good knowledge of JavaScript, scripting and Glide API

Very good technical knowledge of ServiceNow modules

Knowledge of ITIL processes and the ability to apply them

Very good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills including the ability to convey technical information using non-technical language 

Fluency in English

What can you expect?

How do we work on {projects}?

Colleagues with little or no experience with ServiceNow first complete our adaptation plan programme, where they learn the fundamentals of the Now Platform. Experienced colleagues have a shortened and intensive programme, with several interesting workshops. After completing the adaptation programme, new hires start working on projects directly. These can be for external clients or for internal development projects because we ourselves use ServiceNow for our internal functions (such as HR).

Projects vary in complexity, but a standard project generally involves 8 people, managed by a managing consultant who is responsible for the entire client portfolio. If there is more than a single “stream” for a client, the workstream leader is then responsible for each stream. Each project team has its own project manager/scrum master, business/solution consultant, QA engineer/designer and ServiceNow consultants.

Our largest clients require the attention of 24 team members and the smallest needs only two. These are but few examples of our clients and projects:

City Hall in Stockholm – We developed a citizen's portal for Sweden’s capital city. Now, Stockholm residents can communicate with the town hall via a mobile ServiceNow application. At the same time, a local university was able to exchange biological tissues with a hospital thanks to a custom ServiceNow catalogue we developed at GuideVision

KBC - The KBC Global Risk Operations team worked with GuideVision consultants to support the implementation of a financial losses and near misses solution on top of the Now Platform. Moving away from spreadsheet-based methods towards more secure, scalable and real-time processing solutions has helped the company’s growth. 

MSC Cruises – Known for operating huge ocean liners, MSC Cruises uses ServiceNow for crisis management and communication processes.


Are you tired of being ‘thrown in at the deep end’? Do you prefer quality over quantity? Our goal is to prepare you as much as possible for your future work at GuideVision so you can focus on delivering quality solutions.

This is why all our new colleagues start with an adaptation plan in their first week at GuideVision. It is crucial to us that you become familiar with all fundamental techniques of ServiceNow development - as well as our delivery methodology - before jumping into your first project. Usually, the adaptation plan takes from 6 to 8 weeks, but it is shortened for colleagues with extensive ServiceNow experience.

You can expect a technical introduction, relevant workshops and other activities which will serve as a foundation for your next project assignments. Workshops for experienced new hires may cover such topics as our delivery methodology, best practices and agile application, ITIL overview for newbies / ITIL 4 - business perspective and how to prepare and perform analytical workshops.

You will lead the customer through both analytical and implementation projects from analysis of customer requirements to almost single-handed implementation of ServiceNow products based on GuideVision and ServiceNow best practices, platform capabilities, and no-code configuration options.

Analytical thinking – ability to identify and analyse customer needs, knowledge of business analysis.

Open-minded with a strong learning approach.

Technical and product-oriented – proven ability to quickly understand platform environment, design, and configurations (experiences with ServiceNow or different platform + SW analysis, design, and implementation are welcome not required). 

Fluency in English, Advanced MS Office use.

Presenting ServiceNow products, consulting on its capabilities and benefits for customers 

Main responsibilities on project:

Analysis of customer needs and mapping them to specific ServiceNow functionalities, modules and applications 

Creating high-level process and technical design documents

Leading customer workshops, presenting of final solutions

Converting customer requirements into user stories including implementation scope (ServiceNow configuration only)

Implementing configuration-based stories

Helping customers with UAT testing 

Detailed knowledge of ServiceNow platform, capabilities, and features, very detailed knowledge of five or more products like ITSM, CSM, ITAM or some other business-oriented modules. 

Excellent soft skills, conceptual thinking, practical judgment and approach, ability to become a mentor for other colleagues and hands-on experience with leading training and coaching.
